Kelly Cooper Kwoka is an art director, designer and illustrator based in Tampa, FL. She’s worked at Fortune 500s, ad agencies large and small, design shops on both coasts, and most recently, for herself — presiding over a freelance empire from the comfort of her home office rolly chair.
Kelly’s first taste of achievement in the creative industry involved shaking hands with Mickey Mouse, when, as a 5th grader, she won the elusive Walt Disney Dreamers and Doers Medal. The award honors those who exemplify the four “C”s Walt admired most in a person: Curiosity, Confidence, Courage and Constancy.
In the years that would follow, Kelly’s work continued to garner recognition — most recently with the One Club, Communication Arts and the Addys. She also serves as a judge for the American Advertising Federation’s largest creative competition on a yearly basis.
